My Everyday Life Week 1- Here’s what this past week looked like!
First page of my Hobonichi Cousin for 2026! This is my daily check-in/art practice.

I was busy packing up Currently Workbooks this week!
If you are an international friend, you can get one through Blurb.
And if you’re not ready to commit to the whole practice, you can download the template to make your own binder OR use it as a digital planner.

This will be my third year using this planner cover. It was originally red with flowers.
I painted it using black gesso and paint pens. Hooray for DIY.

I spent some time this week going through my past workbooks.

I have completed 6 years of this practice!

Speaking of practice, that’s my word for 2026. I wrote more about how my word for 2025 shaped up and what my intentions are for 2026 on my Substack this weekend.

I have been able to meet & connect with so many new internet friends!

Outgoing packages this week.

There are a few people doing the currently workbook practice with their kids this year and THAT PLEASES ME GREATLY!!!

All my tiny little joys for December. I am continuing the PRACTICE in 2026.

I also shared the writing prompt for my paid subscribers on Substack this week.

Casey made biscuits from a mix my niece gifted us.

Huggy has been playing around in boxes all week.

We had a moment of sun in a VERY rainy week.

You can see how I made my December pages on YouTube.

Catching up with Neiley! I haven’t seen her since before we left for Idaho.

She’s going through a candle phase, and I love that about her.

FRED!!! I love his black toebeans and nose.

I used my Mom’s ornament to cover her bum. I think it would have made her laugh at the “moon.”

This is what large fries at McDonald’s looks like in our town. This was $4.79.
Regrets x 1000

Tuna salad went into the rotation.

My brother got me this little charmera by Kodak, It is like going back in time!

Sol Food Chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and an arugula salad.

We stayed up late and watched the ball drop!

I pulled my tarot cards for 2026 and wrote notes with my year template.

We brought Beans inside to get her out of the rain. We all had a good cuddle with her while we watched movies.

Cooper was obsessed.

Chicken cutlets, blue cheese salad and roasted sweet potatoes.

A visit with Fred.

Aftermath.

Leftovers for dinner.

Making a straight line out of chocolate chunk blondies. Looks like we have to try harder 😉

Happy first Super Moon of the year!
