my lil trip to portland:
I just got back from Oregon. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it up there. I'm get nostalgic for Oregon as I went to college there waaaay back when.
I met up with a dear friend in Portland before my visit to Eugene and we had a lil food & shopping adventure!
We went to Pine State Biscuits! I've been wanting to go FOREVER.
Your first vacation, Cooper
You are almost 11 months old. Eek! That means we have to get a move on with your birthday party planning! Yikes.
This past weekend was your FIRST OFFICIAL VACATION!
We went to Lake Tahoe with your Nana, Papa & Uncle Ryan.

This past weekend we went to Las Vegas for a wedding. It was our first time away from Cooper AND our first time to Las Vegas. (thank you mom!)
Such a wonderful trip. Still tired as a result!
People watching was FANTASTIC and the food we ate was killer. Because Casey and I love eating our way through a city, I made sure book some reservations the second our flights were booked.

*Nobhill (took pictures, but the lack of flash made everything so blah! I am NOT going to be that person who is firing a flash in a dark restaurant all night long. It's like being on your cellphone...but worse!)

Started off this past weekend with a bang (food wise).

jet lagged
we're baaaaack! Casey & I went on a trip with my family. We spent 10 days away. It was wonderful, relaxing, amazing, magical, interesting & overwhelming! So much to see, so much to do! I took over 400 pics while away. It's going to take me a long time to edit them..... But right now I leave you with this one above. We spent the last day of our trip in Las Palmas- in the Canary Islands. We walked around and found these pretty fish!
More about the trip later. I'm still recovering from having spent 27 hours traveling. It's good to be home. Time to catch up on all my recorded shows & snuggle with my two kitties.
I've spent the past 10 days curbing my internet usage. Damn....It felt pretty good. I'm trying sooo hard not to get sucked back in!
