Top 20 Posts of 2017

Top 20 Posts of 2017 on Shutterbean.com!We’re a few days away from a NEW YEAR, so I’m in review mode. I also want to throw everything out in my house and start over. Maybe I just need to put away all of our Christmas decorations and I’ll feel better?

Maybe I just need to hibernate?

Yes. That’s it.

A lot has happened this year, hasn’t it?  Let’s look at what your favorite posts were from 2017, shall we?  I always love doing this because I like to see how much my photography has changed over the years. I should have started doing this in 2007 when I started my blog! Oh well. You live/you learn.

I am floored each year by the amount of useful and beautiful content that you create – yours is my favorite blog and I love the addition of organizing, habit, and creativity posts! I’m going to create your cheese board for my neighbor NYE party! Thank you, Tracy!

  • fusilliamy

I love that this list has a little bit of everything and I am here for it all! You’re still my favorite for salads and organization and that Oprah voice, praise worthy ziti you brought into our lives and man, I need to try that teriyaki chicken. PS you totally inspired me to buy a watercolor set this year. My grandmother and great-aunts all had a special art talent and I’ve always felt like it’s got to be buried somewhere in me but didn’t have the guts to really try until all of your art inspiration. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us!

  • Ronni

If I had to pick three of my favorite recipes this year, two are thanks to Shutterbean! Those Marsala meatballs and those chicken parmesan meatballs were huge hits in my house. The Marsala meatballs are probably my favorite thing I made all year. Thanks, Tracy and Deb!
(We also love a version of the Teriyaki chicken, but I use Trader Joe’s Soyaki. So good!)
Thanks for all the content you provide each year, Tracy. I love the variety of posts and your unique voice.
    Cheers to you in 2018

  • Stasha

Definitely put your decorations away. I took my tree down today and immediately felt better. I have 5 week old twins so reclaiming my house from the holidays gave me a sense of control that I’ve been lacking lately.
I’m glad the hippy banana bread made the top 20. I ate it like it was going out of style while I was pregnant…seriously, one week I made it three times. Definitely a winner!
Happy New Year, Tracy. I hope 2018 brings you and your family peace.

  • Amanda

I’ve made the Hippy banana bread three times this year already, and am going to make it again this weekend! I need to bookmark the coconut quinoa cole slaw and mushroom ramen to make soon. Thanks for sharing all the great posts with us this year, Happy New Year!

  • Anna

Grateful for your Tracy! Great round-up post. Thinking about you as you continue to process and grieve your dear mama. -Anna

I’ve looked at all of these recipes and just sent a bunch of links to my friend. We are currently on a raw foods cleanse and these ideas just got added to my list of “Stuff to I eat after the cleanse”.
